Too many people got butthurt I guess. I never understood why the video games also used the ban list. That was so fucking stupid.

Pretty sure it's because the games were developed in Japan, and were based on its rules (not that I can think of any differences beyond the ban lists offhand)

No point in making cards that are just going to get banned.

The ban list didn't exist for the US version until mid to late 2004, and even then, it took a while for Pot of Greed to get put on it.

Also, that's something of a blast from the past. Was it ever all that good, though? You can get a similar effect from Chaos Emperor Dragon, except he's a lot easier to summon (and honestly looks a lot cooler)

I was looking at getting the parts listed under the Modest build listed on http://www.logicalincrements.com - assuming I'm calculating everything correctly, adding in sales tax & shipping fees would bring the total cost of that build to just shy of $700. Considering I'd also planned on buying a Switch & a game soon (probably Zelda), that puts that build out of my price range >_>

The most recent game I have on my Steam/GOG/Epic Games Store wish lists is ReCore: Definitive Edition. I'd also planned on doing some Gamecube and PS2 emulation on a new computer. With that in mind, would any of the prebuilts on this page be sufficient for that (even if just at minimum requirements)?

Im not disputing the issues people have with kernel level anti-cheat, its just, why start caring now? Battleye and Easy Anti-Cheat run at the same level and have for years. Yet people start freaking out when Valorant does the same thing. Is it because Riot is owned by Tencent? I hardly think that major game devs would exploit this because it could open them up to lawsuits and ruin their brand.

Anyone play Team Fortress 2 recently? Then you would see how fucking worthless VAC is now. So many cheating bots that flood the chat and micspam with slurs.

Maybe people are just now finding out this is a thing? Valorant using it is certainly the first time I remember hearing about it
